Another 7-Eleven robbed

Police continue to seek information about a man who robbed a 7-Eleven store on Aug. 10.

At about 4:45 that morning, a man wearing a mask and wielding a gun walked into the 7-Eleven store at 1924 Walnut Drive and demanded money from a store clerk. He ordered that clerk and another to move to the front of the store, where they were forced to stuff money and cigarettes into the suspect's backpack. Once he had the goods, the masked man fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a thin, black male, 20-23 years old, and 5 feet, 8 inches tall. He was wearing a black ski mask, longsleeved shirt and gloves. He carried a black backpack.

In other crimes:

Barrister Road. At about 7 p.m. on Aug. 6, a man was riding his bike in the 6300 block when someone stepped out in front of him, pushed him onto the ground and stole his bike. The bike was later found nearby.

Beaufont Spring Drive. Between 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. on July 30, someone stole a woman's wallet from her office in the 7300 block in the Boulders VII office park.

Brattle Mill Court. Sometime between 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 1 and 6:10 p.m. on Aug. 5, someone stole a Caterpillar excavator, belonging to Nordic Construction, from a construction site in the 10200 block.

Coach Road. Just after 8 p.m. on Aug. 8, someone threw a bottle of accelerant, possibly gasoline, on a car parked in the 9600 block and set it afire. The suspect then got into a waiting car and sped away. Witnesses were able to extinguish the fire.

Early Settlers Road. Sometime between 11 p.m. on Aug. 9 and 8 a.m. on Aug. 10, someone took a fire extinguisher out of an unlocked vehicle parked in the 1900 block and sprayed several other vehicles parked in the area before discarding it in a resident's front yard.

Harrowgate Road. Between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Aug. 6, two adjacent homes were broken into in the 16400 block. Firearms and electronics were stolen.

Jefferson Davis Highway. Between 5 p.m. on Aug. 6 and 9 a.m. on Aug. 7, inspection stickers were stolen from multiple vehicles at Commonwealth Motors in the 9100 block.

• Sometime between 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 4 and 9 a.m. on Aug. 5, someone stole a large quantity of change from the coin-change machine in front of a business in the 9700 block.

Hull Street Road. Between 6 p.m. on Aug. 6 and 8 a.m. on Aug. 7, someone stole cash from a drink machine at Bob's Sport Shop in the 10400 block.

• At about 1:30 a.m. on Aug. 10, someone caused damage trying to pry open a drink machine and a vending machine at Ye Olde Car Wash in the 13900 block.

Learning Place Loop. Between 8:30 p.m. on July 30 and 12:45 a.m. on July 31, someone entered Tomahawk Creek Middle School in the 1500 block through an unlocked roof door, and then let two others into the building. They vandalized the school and took food from a refrigerator.

Meadow Park Trail. Between 10 p.m. on Aug. 8 and 9 a.m. on Aug. 9, someone put an explosive, possibly fireworks, inside a resident's mailbox in the 6600 block, causing it to catch fire.

Midlothian Turnpike. At about 3 p.m. on Aug. 10, a man was walking down the street when he was robbed of his wallet by two suspects and then struck in the back of the head with a pistol. The two suspects got into a car and drove away.

Oak Lake Boulevard. Sometime between 6:20 p.m. on Aug. 5 and 6 p.m. on Aug. 6, someone stole a trolling motor from a boat stored in the 2300 block.

S. Cropper Court. Sometime between 8 p.m. on Aug. 4 and 5 a.m. on Aug. 5, someone siphoned gas from a car parked in a resident's driveway in the 2600 block.
