Golf tournament to support athletic department

Chesterfield Community High School will sponsor a golf tournament to support its athletic department at Providence Golf Course, located on Providence Road, on Wednesday, Aug. 27. Registration begins at noon and will end at 12:40 p.m. Preregistration is suggested. The cost is $300 per team or $75 per person. All proceeds will go to the high school's athletic department.

Prizes will be awarded for longest drive, closest to the pin, and first, second and third places. Food will be served after the tournament.

Sponsors are also needed. Non-golfers or businesses may sponsor a hole for $200. Sponsors will receive a sign with their name on a tee box and will be entered in a raffle for a gift at the tournament's conclusion.
