Bank deposit went bad when bags were dropped

CRIME WATCH

A McDonald's employee didn't get to make her planned deposit on the morning of Sept. 29.

As she left her car in the 7200 block of Midlothian Turnpike at about 6:40 a.m. to drop off deposit bags at Nation's Bank, she heard noises. Spinning around, she saw a man with a gun standing in front of her vehicle. She then noticed another man standing behind her car. She couldn't tell whether he also had a gun, but it didn't matter. Her fear made her drop the bags before she could deposit them. The man at the front of her car picked up the bags, and both suspects fled on foot. Anyone with information about this crime should call police at 748-1251 or Crime Solvers at 748-0660, or text the code tip699 with the tip and send to 274637 (CRIMES). Both suspects are described only as black males.
