Senior Center fall programs
      The Chesterfield Senior Center, in partnership with the county's Parks and Recreation Department, offers a variety of programs to enhance the well-being of adults 50 years old and older. The center is located in the Church of Our Savior at 4000 Stigall Drive. For more information on any of the following programs, or to register, call Catie Horne at 767-6295.

Advocate for older and disabled adults
      The Chesterfield Council on Aging and the Chesterfield Senior Advocate will hold a workshop about how to become an advocate for older or disabled adults on Oct. 20, from 9 a.m.-noon, at Central Library, located at 9501 Lori Road.

Seminar targeting fraud against seniors
      Chesterfield TRIAD will hold a free seminar about frauds and scams that target older adults on Wednesday, Oct. 29, from 10-11:30 a.m., at the Ettrick Community Center, 20400 Laurel Road. Those who attend will learn how to avoid becoming victims of telemarketing scams, identity theft, home-repair scams and other crimes.
