Walk in the woods with woman turns dangerous A man got more than he bargained for when he offered a woman a ride in his car. At about 11 a.m. on Oct. 10, the man drove his passenger straight to her requested destination, which was the 4100 block of Price Club Boulevard. She invited him to walk into the woods with her, and he did. That's when the male suspects showed up. They assaulted the man and robbed him. Then they, along with the woman, fled. The female and three male suspects are all described as black, and 18-22 years old. In other crimes: Courthouse Road. Between 5 p.m. on Oct. 13 and 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 14, someone damaged a door while attempting to break into the concession stand at the football stadium at Lloyd C. Bird High School in the 10300 block. • At about 8:10 p.m. on Oct. 14, someone set fire to a picnic table at Bird High School. Creek Crossing Drive. At about 2:40 p.m. on Oct. 9, a victim reported that she found a rear window of her home open and her dogs outside of the house in the 5500 block. Between 5:15 a.m. and 2 p.m., while she was out, someone entered her home and stole office equipment and electronics. Jessup Road. At about 8:50 p.m. on Oct. 9, two bottle bombs exploded in the front yard of a residence in the 5600 block. Landfill Drive. Over an extended period of time between 8 a.m. on Jan. 1 and 4 p.m. on Oct. 10, someone took property from the Southern Area Convenience Center in the 6700 block. Mallard Creek Circle. At about 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 7, a man found bullet holes in the bedroom ceiling and roof of his home in the 4000 block at the Mallard Cove Apartments. He also found a bullet on his bedroom floor. There had been an altercation, not involving the victim, earlier in the evening, during which shots had been fired into the air.Markview Lane. Sometime between 8 p.m. on Sept. 28 and 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 8, someone broke the lock on the front door of a residence in the 5300 block at Meadowbrook Apartments. The intruders turned on lights, squeezed toothpaste onto the bathroom floor, rummaged through drawers and stole property. Mason Avenue. At about 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 7, a man answered a knock at his door in the 12300 block. The visitor stepped into the man's home, pulled out a small handgun and grazed the victim's head with the butt of the gun. The victim ran out of his home, leaving the suspect inside. The suspect left a few minutes later. Nothing appeared to be missing. Meadowdale Boulevard. Between 7 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. on Sept. 24, property was stolen from a car parked in the lot at Meadowdale Shopping Center in the 4100 block. Port Walthall Court. Sometime between 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 13 and 6:30 a.m. on Oct. 14, a generator belonging to Cleveland Cement Contractors was stolen from a locked trailer at a construction site in the 15800 block. There were no signs of forced entry. Robindale Road. Just after midnight on Oct. 11, a victim partying at a residence in the 1400 block had an argument with another partygoer. A third person joined the fight and stabbed the victim in his arm. Robious Road. Between 10 p.m. on Oct. 11 and 7:20 a.m. on Oct. 12, someone set a suspicious fire in the men's restroom at Huguenot Park in the 10900 block. Wal-Mart Way. Shortly after 2 p.m. on Oct. 14, someone stole a woman's wallet from her purse while it was in a shopping cart at Wal-Mart. West Court. Sometime between 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 7 and 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 9, someone entered a home in the 4000 block, possibly through an unlocked rear window, and took jewelry and office equipment from the master and spare bedrooms.
