In the Spotlight Gardening for the Birds, Sat., Dec. 6, 1-3 p.m., Rockwood Nature Center, 3401 Courthouse Road. Learn about birds that visit the area. Children ages 5-12 will make pinecone bird feeders to take home, while accompanying adults will learn about garden plants that feed and support songbirds.
