Continuing Education registration is underway Details about winter and spring classes offered by the school system's Office of Adult Continuing Education are available online. To learn about the more than 100 classes open to adults 18 and older, go to www.chesterfield.k12.va.us and click on "Adult Continuing Education" on the right side of the screen. Class catalogs, published jointly with the Chesterfield County Parks and Recreation Department, are also available in county libraries. Registration for Adult Continuing Education classes begins this week. Details on how to register are online and in the catalog. Adult Continuing Education offers GED classes and testing, instruction in English for Speakers of Other Languages and other classes, including industry certification for nurse aide, dental assistant, cosmetology and heating, air conditioning and refrigeration, business topics such as grant writing and workplace manners, technology classes ranging from Mouse 101 to eBay tips to Web site creation, home improvement classes on interior design and basic wiring, and many more. |
