Commission defers decision for new design practices

      With three new members attending their first meeting last week, the Chesterfield Planning Commission deferred making recommendations for low impact development (LID) practices in the Upper Swift Creek watershed until Apr. 15.

Presidential primary will be held on Feb. 12
      A Democratic and Republican presidential primary will be held on Tues., Feb. 12. Polls in the county will be open 6 a.m.-7 p.m. In accordance with Virginia election law, voters in a dual primary must state which party ballot they wish to vote on. Only registered voters may vote in a primary.
