The quiet before the students storm in

Workers put the finishing touches on the new Elizabeth Scott Elementary School in the Bermuda District last week in preparation for the first day of classes there on Tuesday. Administrators and teachers moved into the school over the weekend, and students were given Monday off from school, so teachers could finish organizing their classrooms. Elizabeth Scott was initially supposed to open in September on the first day of school, but was delayed due to issues with a deed and easements.
