CRIME WATCH Police are looking for a man who robbed Walgreens at 11119 Hull Street Rd. at about 8:15 p.m. on Jan. 28. No one was injured during this incident. Police said a man approached a clerk at the counter, asked for cigarettes and then demanded money from the register. The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes. The suspect is a white male between 32-36 years old. He has wavy, sandy hair, green eyes, decayed front teeth and appeared unkempt. He wore blue jeans, dirty white tennis shoes and a gray hooded sweatshirt underneath a blue, gray and black plaid flannel shirt. Anyone with information should call the Chesterfield County Police Department at 748-1251 or Crime Solvers at 748-0660. In other police reports: Arbor Lake Drive. The front door of an apartment in the 6800 block was kicked open on Jan. 22 and clothing, jewelry and other items were taken. Belmont Road. Police responded to a call about suspicious persons in a parking lot in the 6100 block at 3:20 a.m. on Jan. 24. Police detained the suspects, who later admitted they were going to rob a nearby business. Chesterfield Towne Center. The suspect and an accomplice were able to pick the lock of a display case inside Diamond Concepts and steal a Rolex watch at 6 p.m. on Jan. 23. • As the victims exited the mall on Jan. 29, suspect #1 asked them for a ride to a nearby hotel and showed them a wad of cash to prove he could pay for the ride. Suspect #2 then appeared and advised suspect #1 not to flash money to people unless he was sure they also had cash. Suspect #1 asked the victims if they had money, and when one victim showed them his money, suspect #1 pulled out a large knife and robbed both victims before both suspects disappeared into the parking lot. Cricklewood Place. The victim was walking in the South Pointe Landing apartments at 7:50 p.m. on Jan. 26 when he was approached by two armed suspects. They demanded money and then pistol-whipped and kicked the victim when he said he had none. They took the victim's cell phone and ran off. Garrison Place. A GPS device was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Jan. 29 in the 2300 block of the Brandermill neighborhood. Hampton Glen Place. An unlocked 2003 Mazda MPV and a van parked in the 16000 block of the Hampton Park neighborhood were entered on Jan. 25, and firearms and other items were taken. Jefferson Davis Highway. Catalytic converters were taken from a 2004 Toyota and a 1997 Nissan parked in a business parking lot in the 4800 block on Jan. 25. Meadowdale Boulevard. An unlocked and running 1999 Buick was stolen from in front of a residence at Meadowdale Townhouses at 11:50 a.m. on Jan. 24. Sunny's Halo Court. Someone broke into a residence in the 8200 block on Jan. 23 at midday by breaking the glass of the garage door and reaching inside to open the door. Consumable goods were taken from the garage of the Deer Run home. |
