Language arts textbooks available for review Feb. 20

Chesterfield County Public Schools is seeking community input in the process of replacing language arts textbooks for elementary schools.

The language arts textbooks being considered will be on display from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. on Feb. 20 in Room 108 of the school system's Instruction Division Center, 600 Southlake Blvd. Parents and other community members are invited to review the books and fill out evaluation forms.

A recommendation on which language arts textbooks to adopt will go before the school board in March or April, and elementary students will begin using the new textbooks in September.
