Health textbooks will be available for review Mar. 6 Chesterfield County Public Schools is seeking community input in the process of adopting textbooks for use in the Health Science Specialty Center at Cosby High School. The textbooks being considered are for classes in genetics, cell biology, biochemistry of foods, parasitology, anatomy and drawing, medical law and ethics, medical Spanish and introduction to patient care. The textbooks will be on display 8 a.m.-6 p.m. on Mar. 6 in Cosby's library, 14300 Fox Club Pkwy. Parents and other community members are invited to review the books and fill out evaluation forms for the textbook review committee. A recommendation on which textbooks to adopt will go before the Chesterfield County School Board in March or April, and Health Science Specialty Center students will begin using the new textbooks in September. |
