CPR Saturday in Midlothian kicks off this month

The Midlothian Volunteer Fire Department and the Greater Richmond Chapter of the American Red Cross will offer "CPR Saturday in Midlothian" on the last Saturday of March, May and July from 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Classes start Sat., Mar. 29, and will be held at Midlothian Fire Station #5, located at 13420 Midlothian Tnpk. in the Village of Midlothian.

The course provides American Red Cross certification in Adult Standard First Aid/CPR and the use of the Automated External Defi- brillator (AED). From dealing with a cardiac arrest to caring for a twisted ankle, this course covers how to prepare for, prevent and respond to illnesses and injuries large and small.

A fee of $33 per person covers all course materials and includes a CPR breathing barrier and gloves packaged as a handy key chain. To register or for more information, call 839-6075 or e-mail midlothianvfd@gmail.com.
