Dig into the past at spring archaeology camp

Experience the thrill of discovery at Henricus Historical Park's Archaeology Spring Break Camp. Children ages 8-12 will be able to "dig" into the past during the week of Mar. 24-28 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. each day. Campers will work with professional archaeologists and learn excavation techniques. Campers will then demonstrate what they learned about the past from their archaeology dig by providing their own living history demonstrations and creating museum "exhibits."

Camp fees are $135 per child, which includes a field trip to an active archaeological site and a local museum.

For further information, e-mail carlinim@chesterfield.gov or visit www.henricus.org. To enroll in the camp, call 706- 1340.
