Charity auction will feature Lite 98's Kat Simon

Lite 98's Kat Simon will serve as auctioneer for the Brandermill Woman's Club's "Old Bags Auction and Charity" event on Apr. 19 at 10:30 a.m. at the Brandermill Church. The event will feature gently-used purses that contain a wrapped gift along with a few high-end items. The silent auction component will offer some one-of-a-kind items, party and travel items, a weeks lodging at the Outer Banks and more. Cash and checks are the only acceptable form of payment. While guests enjoy quiche, coffee cake, fruit and muffins, club members will circulate with tickets for chances at door prizes donated by area businesses.
