Woman is arrested for exposing herself at gas station

Chesterfield police arrested a 25-year-old Richmond woman on multiple charges for an incident that allegedly occurred shortly after 2 a.m. on Apr. 3 at the Sheetz convenience store at the corner of Midlothian Turnpike and Providence Road. Jessie L. Durand, 25, of the 3900 block of Rusk Avenue, was arrested for assault and battery, indecent exposure, trespassing, profane swearing and intoxication after a verbal altercation with a store employee.

In other police reports:

Belmont Road. An unlocked and running 1999 gold Cadillac was stolen from the 6000 block at 9 p.m. on Apr. 4.

Camber Well Road. An unlocked 1994 Dodge van was stolen from the 2800 block in the South Pointe Landing Apartments on Apr. 4.

Graves Road. Three ATVs were stolen from a residence in the 9400 block.

Jefferson Davis Highway. The female suspect knocked on the victim's door at 5:30 p.m. on Apr. 4 in the Falling Creek Apartments, telling the male victim she needed milk for her baby. The suspect quickly pulled out a gun and demanded money from the male victim and another individual inside the apartment. She left with money, jewelry and other items and was seen getting into a vehicle driven by a male suspect.

Millridge Parkway. The victim was driving north in the 4300 block at 8:53 p.m. on Apr. 4 when the windshield of his vehicle was cracked by a pellet from a BB gun. The shooters fled when the victim stopped and called police.

Old Stage Road. The victim left a 1998 Jeep SUV parked on the side of the road in the 12900 block and reported it stolen from there on Apr. 6.

Royal Crest Drive. The interior of a Mike Dumont custom home under construction in the 2600 block in Queens Grant at Riverdowns was reported to be vandalized on Apr. 4.

Swift Run Road. A 1993 Eagle Talon was reported stolen in the 2800 block on Apr. 1. The victim left the keys in the unlocked vehicle while leaving it for repairs.

Walmsley Boulevard. The victim was on his way to purchase drugs when he encountered the suspects in the woods in the 6900 block around 3 p.m. on Apr. 2. After purchasing the drugs, he encountered the two 17-year-old suspects again. The suspects took the drugs and a cell phone from the victim. Police later arrested the suspects, charging both with robbery and one with an additional charge of possession of marijuana. As of press deadline, the victim has not been arrested.

Weir Road. The victim was stopped at a traffic light when the female suspect approached, demanding that the victim return to the parking lot because she had allegedly struck another vehicle. The victim complied with the suspect because she said she was a police officer, but police later determined that the victim had not struck a vehicle and the suspect was not a police officer. Police arrested Arlene L. Sheppard, 56, of the 13600 block of Thornhill Place, and charged her with impersonating a police officer.

Woodland Pond Parkway. The interior of a home in the 11600 block was reported vandalized on Apr. 7. Entry was apparently gained through an unlocked rear window in the living room.
