Looking out for Mother Earth
Last month's Earth Day and Arbor Day celebrations prompted several schools to participate in Earth-friendly activities. Beulah Elementary kindergarten teacher Jenny Reasoner (left), released butterflies her students raised in their classroom as part of the school's Earth Day celebration. Manchester High School Success Program mentors Alex Kirkland and David Vitrano (below), along with teacher Robin Goff, picked up trash along Deer Run Drive as part of an annual Adopt-A-Highway project. Several other mentors also participated in the Deer Run clean-up.
