Prevention Services to host ADHD/ADD skill-building workshop

Chesterfield County Prevention Services, a division of the Mental Health Support Services Department, will offer a skill-building workshop this summer for children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder/attention deficit disorder.

The workshops will be held on Mondays, from July 6-July 27, at LaPrade Library, 9000 Hull Street Road. These group sessions will help children to better understand ADHD/ ADD and develop skills for success.

Topics will include organizing, staying focused, thinking before acting and managing feelings. Times will vary according to children's grade levels.
