It's deja vu all over again in child porn case

A county man pleaded guilty to distributing child pornography before a U.S. magistrate judge on July 22. It's the second time he's made such a plea in federal court, having been previously sentenced for the same crime in December 2001.

James Turner Yager, 31, admitted he used a computer to send a photograph of a young girl having intercourse with an adult male. He sent the picture and others to an undercover FBI agent in San Diego on May 8.

Yager is scheduled to be sentenced in U.S. District Court in October. He could get as much as 40 years in prison. His lawyer indicated they may try for an earlier sentencing date.

He was sentenced to four years in prison in 2001. His probation in that sentencing ended in June 2008. He told investigators after his most recent arrest that he hadn't used the computer or the Internet while he was on federal probation, but began indulging in child pornography in January.
