Adult continuing education registration is ongoing

The Adult Continuing Education Office of Chesterfield County Public Schools has begun registration for fall classes.

A program guide is available online with information about classes and how to register. To view the online program guide, go to and click "Adult Continuing Education" located under the slide show. Printed copies of the guide will be available soon in public libraries, schools and school and county government buildings.

Work-force classes usually fill up quickly, so those interested in enrolling should register soon. Work-force classes provide instruction for people who want to become medical assistants, nurse assistants, dental assistants and nail technicians, or work in medical billing or in heating, air conditioning and refrigeration. Classes are also offered in cosmetology theory.

In addition to work-force training, Adult Continuing Education provides enrichment classes, GED instruction and English for Speakers of Other Languages.
