Most dangerous job in Chesterfield? Yet another food delivery person was robbed last week. According to police, the victim was delivering a pizza in the 20400 block of Loyal Avenue around 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 23 when a suspect came up behind him and placed something against his back. Assuming it was a gun, the delivery person raised his hands, allowing the suspect to take money and electronics from his pockets. The suspect and a second individual then took the pizza and ran off. Someone broke into Richmond Christian School’s concession stand in the 6500 block between Sept. 18 and 21. Food and drinks were taken. Beulah Road. Someone broke into three locked classroom trailers at Beulah Elementary School between Sept. 18 and 21. Electronics were stolen. Brad McNeer Parkway. Someone broke into numerous businesses at the Village at Swift Creek in the 6100 block on Sept. 20. The suspects used a large rock to shatter the glass in the front door of Play It Again Sports, but were apparently scared away when an alarm sounded. Nothing was taken. The glass front door of Hairlines was also broken, and cash was taken from the register. While inside Hairlines, the suspects used an adjoining door to enter Shooters, where they stole cash and food.Cliffside Drive. Between 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 17 and 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 20, someone entered a residence in the 700 block by removing an air-conditioning unit from a side window. Firearms and electronics were taken. Courthouse Road. Someone stole electronic stop signs from several school buses at the transportation shop in the 10200 block between Sept. 18 and 21.Genito Road. On Sept. 19 between 2:55 a.m. and 4:30 a.m., someone was driving in the 10500 block when he/she was pulled over by a suspect dressed in a police uniform. Greenspring Road. A shopping basket was discovered on fire near InTown Suites in the 11500 block around 3:20 p.m. on Sept. 19.Hampton Crest Circle. Between Sept. 21 and 23, someone stole a GPS device from an unlocked vehicle in the 8000 block. Hampton Crest Turn. On Sept. 20 around 3:15 a.m., someone broke into a residential garage in the 15700 block and then rummaged through a vehicle parked there, stealing money and electronics.Jefferson Davis Highway. Someone stole a vehicle from Franco Auto Sales in the 8900 block between Sept. 18 and 22. Midlothian Turnpike. Between 1 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. on Sept. 19, someone entered the McDonald’s in the 9200 block using a key. Money was taken from the safe and six cash register drawers.• Between 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 18 and 10 a.m. the next day, someone stole a black 1994 Chevrolet Impala SS from Unique Auto Sales in the 7700 block. North Briar Patch Drive. On Sept. 20 between 1 a.m. and 7:14 a.m., fuel was taken from multiple vehicles parked in the 11700 block.Salem Church Road. Between 7 p.m. on Sept. 17 and 9 a.m. on Sept. 19, someone stole miscellaneous items from several unlocked storage structures in the 9300 block. • Between 1:10 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. on Sept. 20, three juveniles attempted to enter a storage shed belonging to the Salem Church Athletic Association in the 9700 block by kicking the door and hitting the lock with a rock. When they were unsuccessful, the teens entered a mobile concession stand via a roof vent and stole consumable goods. Police charged two 14-year-old boys with grand larceny and destruction of property, and a 15-year-old girl with grand larceny. Sandlewood Drive. Between 8:50 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Sept. 18, someone entered a residence in the 7400 block through an unlocked back door and took jewelry and electronics. Sommerville Court. Someone stole a wallet from an office in the 14300 block on Sept. 23.Wayside Drive. On Sept. 19 around 3:30 a.m., an unknown suspect kicked in the front door of a unit at Wayside Townhouse Apartments in the 2600 block and then assaulted the resident inside. • Between noon on Sept. 16 and 8 a.m. the next day, someone entered a vacant unit at Wayside Townhouse Apartments in the 2600 block by breaking a front window and then vandalized the interior. Several areas were burned. Weir Road. Between Sept. 19 and 21, someone cut a fence at the rear of Verizon in the 2500 block and entered several work vans parked there.
