Police department honors volunteers

Photo courtesy of Jim Eicher, Chesterfield County Police Department Sixty-eight volunteers received the President’s Volunteer Service Award last month for their contributions to the Chesterfield County Police Department. The awards are issued annually by the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation and presented to citizens who have demonstrated exemplary citizenship through volunteerism.

Gerald A. Landrum received the President’s Call to Service Award, recognizing 4,000-plus hours of volunteerism to the department.
