Families of the Wounded Fund Fourth Annual Golf Classic set
The Families of the Wounded Fund (FOTWF), a nonprofit organization that provides financial resources to family members and caregivers of military service personnel who have been wounded in combat or injured as the result of line-of-duty activities in support of combat operations, will host its Fourth Annual Golf Classic on Monday, Sept. 20. The event will take place at Brandermill Country Club, 3700 Brandermill Parkway, with registration beginning at 11 a.m. and a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit FOTWF.
The entry fee is $400 per team or $100 per player. Those who enter as individuals will be placed with others to form whole teams. Team entry includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, unlimited range balls, team photo, complimentary cigars, tournament gifts and raffle prizes, lunch, awards dinner, on-course cold beverages and individual and team awards. The format is four-player teams, captain’s choice and Stableford scoring (amateur golfer’s only).
