Thieves make burglary an office job

In a way, some burglars in the county went white-collar recently – targeting offices rather than homes or retail businesses:

• Unknown suspect(s) broke a window to enter a medical office in the 1100 block of Boulders Parkway on Nov. 18. Nothing was reported stolen.

• Two offices in the Village Green at Brandermill in the 4900 block of Millridge Parkway were broken into by unknown suspect(s) on Nov. 19. Cash was reported stolen.

• Unknown suspect(s) entered an office in the 11500 block of Allecingie Parkway in the Huguenot Commercial Park through an unlocked rear window on Nov. 20. Cash and electronic devices were reported stolen.

• Several offices in the 800 block of Moorefield Park Drive in Moorefield were broken into and ransacked by unknown suspect(s) on Nov. 20. Nothing was reported stolen.

• Unknown suspect(s) broke a glass door to enter an office in the 100 block of Walton Park Lane in the Railey Hill Office Condos on Nov. 20. The inside was ransacked but nothing was reported stolen.

In other crimes:

Brandermill (Brandermill Parkway) – Unknown suspect(s) broke a window to enter the Greenwood School in the 3700 block on Nov. 19. The interior was ransacked and cash and electronic devices were reported stolen.

Centralia (Chester Road) – Two unknown suspects wearing masks entered the Circle K convenience store in the 9900 block around 3:05 a.m. on Nov. 20. They took cash, consumable goods and miscellaneous items and left.

• A silver 2013 Chevrolet was reported stolen – along with firearms, clothing and consumable goods inside – from a home in the 5600 block of Centralia Road on Nov. 21.

Chesdin Landing (Chesdin Landing Terrace) – Copper pipes were reported stolen from an unlocked shed at a home in the 15600 block on Nov. 20.

Chester (Chester Road) – Unknown suspect(s) entered a home in the 11800 block on Nov. 19 through an unlocked door. Nothing was reported stolen.

• Unknown suspect(s) forced open a rear door to gain entry to Sibley’s Bar-B-Q in the 12000 block of Winfree Street on Nov. 23. Cash and miscellaneous items were reported stolen.

Eagle Cove (Oak River Drive) – Fuel was reported siphoned from a pickup truck parked at a home in the 9200 block on Nov. 21.

Enon (East Hundred Road) – Unknown suspect(s) pried open a side door to enter the Bermuda Inn in the 100 block on Nov. 22. Cash and consumable goods were reported stolen.

Forest Glenn (Forest Glenn Circle) – Firearms were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle at a home in the 1600 block on Nov. 17.

Forest Hill Avenue – An unspecified motor vehicle with the keys inside was reported stolen from the parking lot of a business in the 9000 block on Nov. 19.

Halfway House Heights (Elokomin Avenue) – A resident was assaulted inside her vehicle in the 10200 block by a known suspect around 6:55 p.m. on Nov. 20. The suspect stole cash and fled from the vehicle.

Harrowgate Road – A garage and two vans at Barnes Heating and Air in the 16400 block were broken into by unknown suspect(s) on Nov. 21. Miscellaneous items were reported stolen.

Heaths Way Road – Unknown suspect(s) broke the glass front door to enter Jersey Mike’s Subs in the 100 block on Nov. 21. Cash was reported stolen.

Holly Acres (Butler Court) – An unspecified motor vehicle was reported stolen on Nov. 23 from a home in the 21000 block. It was later recovered within the county.

Hull Street Road – A shopper at a grocery store in the 10000 block reported around 2:45 p.m. on Nov. 20 that her wallet had been stolen from her purse. The wallet was later recovered.

Magnolia Green (Rock Cress Place) – Unknown suspect(s) broke a window to enter a locked vehicle parked at a home in the 7700 block on Nov. 22. Miscellaneous items were reported stolen.

Midlothian Turnpike – Firearms were reported stolen from a locked vehicle parked at a business in the 11500 block on Nov. 20. There were no signs of forced entry.

Point of Rocks Estates (Traywick Drive) – Firearms were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked at a home in the 14200 block on Nov. 16.

• Unknown suspect(s) broke the rear window of a truck parked at a home in the 14200 block of Santell Drive on Nov. 19. The suspect(s) poured bleach inside the vehicle and stole firearms.

Reams Run (Copperwood Court) – Firearms were reported stolen from a home in the 10000 block on Nov. 18.

Salem Church Road – Electronic devices were reported stolen on Nov. 21 from a school bus parked at Salem Church Middle School in the 9700 block.

Salem Woods (Dulverton Circle) – Copper pipes were reported stolen from the crawl space of a home in the 9900 block on Nov. 4.

Salisbury (Castleford Court) – Copper was reported stolen on Nov. 20 from a vacant house in the 14600 block.

Stevens Hollow (Stevens Hollow Drive) – A vacant house in the 6500 block was entered on Nov. 18 by unknown suspect(s) who kicked in the back door and vandalized the inside. Nothing was reported stolen.

Waterside Apartments (Wooded Glen Court) – Two vehicles parked at a unit in the 6400 block were entered with no signs of forced entry on Nov. 17. Cash, consumable goods and miscellaneous items were reported stolen.

West Chesterfield Heights (Oakland Avenue) – Unknown suspect(s) entered a house being renovated in the 20000 block through a rear window on Nov. 17. Miscellaneous items were reported stolen.
