Test drive a car, help county students and teachers

The Chesterfield Education Foundation is partnering with more than a dozen local car dealers, Chesterfield Federal Credit Union and Midas of Richmond to raise funds to benefit county students and teachers.

The Test Drive for Learning Challenge will be held the weekend of May 16-17. For every Chesterfield County Public Schools employee (ID required) who visits one of the participating dealerships and test-drives a new car, the dealership will make a donation to the foundation.

The credit union will also offer financing approvals (subject to underwriting requirements) and preferred interest rates for all CCPS employees. Any CCPS employee who visits five dealerships for test drives will receive a certificate from Midas of Richmond for free oil changes for a year.

Participating dealerships are Heritage Chevrolet, Brown’s Volkswagen/Suzuki, Haley Toyota/Scion, Volvo of Midlothian, Haley Ford, Colonial Honda, Sheehy Ford/ Lincoln, Whitten Bros. Mazda, Brown’s Jaguar, Gateway Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz of Midlothian, Whitten Bros. Fiat, Haley Buick/GMC, Whitten Bros. Chrysler/Jeep/ Ram and Colonial Kia.
