Recovery high school set to open this summer

The region’s first public full-time high school program for students in recovery from substance abuse is slated to open its doors on Aug. 22.

Chesterfield County Schools Superintendent Merv Daugherty briefly updated School Board members during the body’s monthly work session last week, stating that the application process will soon be online and that the venture is made possible through state and private funding sources.
